How to Play Gaps Solitaire
Objective: Arrange all cards in four rows, each row containing one suit in sequence from 2 to King.
Game Setup
- 4 Rows: Each row should contain one suit (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K)
- Remove Aces: All four Aces are removed, creating gaps
- 2 Redeals: When stuck, you get 2 chances to redeal
Movement Rules
- Click a gap to see valid moves
- A card can move to a gap if it's one rank higher and same suit as the card to the left of the gap
- Any 2 can move to a gap in the first column
- Gaps after Kings cannot be filled (Kings end sequences)
Winning Strategy Tips
- Build from left to right - Complete early columns first
- Plan entire rows - Think about where each suit will go
- Use redeals wisely - Only 2 redeals available!
- Watch for Kings - Position them carefully as they block gaps
- Create good gaps - Sometimes move cards to create more useful gaps
