TriPeaks Solitaire (also known as Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks) is a fast-paced and fun solitaire game. Clear three pyramids of cards by creating sequences one higher or lower than the waste pile. Play completely free with no ads!
Objective: Clear all cards from the three peaks by playing cards that are one rank higher or lower than the current waste pile card.
The key to TriPeaks is creating long streaks of cards without drawing from the stock. Each consecutive card you play multiplies your score!
Streak Scoring:
Usually, focus on clearing the center peak first as it opens up more cards faster. However, if one peak has a long sequence ready, take advantage of it!
Since wrapping is allowed (Ace plays on King), knowing which ranks have been played helps you decide when to use the stock.
Sometimes it's worth keeping a card exposed even if you can play it, if it will enable a longer streak later.
TriPeaks was invented in 1989 by Robert Hogue. He designed it specifically to be more skill-based than luck-based, with about 90% of games being winnable with perfect play. The three peaks were inspired by the Rocky Mountains near his home in Colorado.
Quick Games: Average game takes just 3-5 minutes, perfect for coffee breaks!
Easy to Learn: Simple rules - just match one higher or lower. Anyone can start playing immediately.
Hard to Master: Creating long streaks requires practice and strategy. You'll always have room to improve!
High Win Rate: About 90% of deals are winnable with good play, so you won't get frustrated with impossible games.
Yes! One of the best features of TriPeaks is wrapping. You can play an Ace on a King, or a King on an Ace. This adds strategic depth and can create amazing streaks!
Since about 90% of deals are winnable, anything above 60-70% win rate shows good skill. Expert players can achieve 80-85% or higher!
Not always! While long streaks give big bonuses, the primary goal is clearing all three peaks. Sometimes it's better to draw from stock than risk getting stuck.
Usually the center peak, as it overlaps both side peaks and opens up the most cards. But stay flexible - if a side peak offers a long streak, take it!
